Why doesn't NIM offer a 9 month program?
NIM empowers students for long-term professional and business success. Students need time to master and integrate the technical skills essential to practicing therapeutic massage. In addition, students need time to master the physical alignment and body mechanics required to prevent future injury for themselves. Financial success depends on return clients and on positive "word of mouth" business - even in settings such as spas where others employ you. NIM's thorough training prepares you to work with the most common problems that lead clients to seek help from a massage therapist. What do I receive when I complete my training?
Upon successful completion of the Massage Therapy Program , you will receive a NIM diploma. Upon successful completion of the Clinical Massage Therapy Program , you will receive a NIM associate degree. Your credential will be required for most city and state massage licenses. You will also be prepared to sit for the Ohio State Medical Board and the National Certification Exam in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. top

As one of the first accredited massage therapy schools in the nation, NIM is accredited by the Accrediting Councul for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET), registered by the Ohio Board of Career Colleges and Schools and approved by the Medical Board of the State of Ohio . ACCET is a U.S. Department of Education nationally recognized accredditing agency and an ISO 9001 Quality Managemen System by Veritas Quality International (BVQI). As a partnership for quality, the ACCET accreditiation process represents both an organizational commitment to and a strategic plan for quality training. Does NIM have parking available?
